It is 2010 already!

Wow where on earth did 2009 go! If you are looking back through the archives on this site you might notice a fairly large gap between posts, in fact my last post was in March last year. There are a variety of reasons for this, the biggest one being that I have been working full time for a wonderful company for the last year and a bit doing front end UI development on a soon to be released web CMS.

This has been a huge change for me after so long working freelance. There have of course been positives and negatives to the changes but after a year I can honestly say that they positives far outweigh the negatives. I have had the opportunity to work on some huge projects that I would never had gotten the chance to work on 18 months ago and I have been working with some truly amazing people many of whom I now call friends. The regular pay cheque doesn’t hurt either! It is true that I can no longer work in my dressing gown but for friends, opportunity and financial security I can certainly live with that. In many ways, even though I loved working freelance and may go back to it one day, I wish that I had gone to work for a company sooner.

Site of the day for the 1st of April 2008!

I have just found out that I have been awarded site of the day on Daily Slurp. I am, obviously, really pleased with being featured. It’s a real honour to know that other people in the industry like my work!

Re-Design Of My Site

Welcome to the latest incarnation of my personal portfolio. It has been some time since I have done any work on this site and after moving to Cardiff I felt that it was time that something was done. There has been a complete overhaul of the look and feel of the site and many major changes to how the site works.
